Quran Khauwani

Quran Khauwani

Recitation of the Holy Quran has tremendous benefits in this life and the next. Allah says in the Quran: “Those, to whom we have blessed the Book (Quran), recite it with its actual recital. They believe in it. And who disbelieves in it, are those who are losers” – Sura: Al Baqra: Ayat: 21 The following ahadith further stress on the importance of reciting the Holy Quran: Ibn Masood reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Lam-Mim is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter and Mim is a letter.” Furtermore, Abu Umamah reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, “Read the Quran, for it will come as intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.”  We at Khatam Shareef are dedicated to fulfil our clients Quran Khuwani needs all year round. Quran Khawani for the Purpose of Isal-e-Sawab

Quran Khuwani refers to the recitation of the Holy Quran by one person or a group of people to call upon the grace of Allah Almighty. It is a common practice among Muslims worldwide where people invite their relatives, neighbors, madrasah students, etc., to their homes to recite Quran. After the whole Quran is recited, a dua is made, followed by the distribution of food among the attendants.

Reciting the holy Quran ensures countless benefits for the readers in this life and the hereafter. Allah says in the Quran: “Those, to whom we have blessed the book (Quran), recite it with its actual recital. They believe in it. And those who disbelieve in it, are those who are the losers.” (Al-Baqarah: Ayah 21).

Earn countless blessings and rewards

Reciting the holy book makes us closer to Allah and earn His blessings.

Ibn Masood narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “Whoever recites a letter from the book of Allah, he will be credited with a good deed, and a good deed gets a ten-fold reward. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.”

This clarifies how we can earn countless rewards by reading just one verse from the Holy book. And each letter we recite from the Quran will speak for us on the day of resurrection, and thus becomes a means to save us from the hell fire.

A narration from Abu Umamah further strengthens this belief as he says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying, “Read the Quran, as it will come as an intercessor for its reciters on the Day of Resurrection.”

Attract Peace and repel Evil Spirits

The verses of the Quran have the power to mend the hearts of the readers and feed their souls. It not only brings peace to the mind, heart, and soul of the readers but also keeps the evil spirits at bay by providing a protective shield to the reciters as well as the place of the Quran Khuwani. Muslims have a keen belief that reciting the holy Quran in their homes brings Baqarah and eradicates the evil spirits and negative energies around them.
